Why good feng shui comes in three ?

Someone told me that good Feng Shui comes in three. I have two lucky bamboo and two is bad. They said I should go get another lucky bamboo to make it three because three is good feng shui. Why does good feng shui comes in there? Why three?
understanding fengshui isn’t really that easy. you need to know why is the bamboo for in the first place.
the numbers 3 and 4 are not lucky numbers. but each of these numbers become lucky when each one of them combine with certain numbers. because these numbers present the element wood. thus, using 3 bamboos is just like having 2 wood elements in that area (1. for having bamboo, 2. for the 3 units of bamboo).
but i like to emphasize for you to use number 4 or having 4 green plants or bamboo. because the number 4 when combined with 1 signifies love or education; and when combine with 9 it forms the celebration of life/ family.
on the other hand, the number 3 always signifies conflict, even when the combination is good; while number 2 signifies illness.
so having 4 green plants is like having triple wood element, because:
1). 4 units = wood
2). being green = wood
3). plant itself = wood
since you are watering it everyday. water is 1. thus, you get 4 and 1, which is a good combination.
in 2007, it is best to place 4 green plants at the east most and southeast most parts of the house, for you to attract new people into you life. this also means that you attract potential customers into your business. do not put the plants if the area is a toilet or a bedroom. and remove them when some people bothers you.
feng shui, decorating my room?

kay so the pic says the sections and the furniture im putting there.
other stuff in my room that i dont know were to put:
huge book shelf
TV
a vanity with a mirror
little plastic thing with cubbies that stack on top of each other
a stand up 5.5 foot lamp
a computer
a trashcan (small of course)
and a few other things
i need to know what i should put in the ‘travel and helpful people’ section. the ‘career’ section, and the ‘family’ section.
please helpp

Ok, here’s what you can do.
Put the bookshelf next to your desk and overlapping the knowledge / family sections. You can then put up photos of family on the shelf, and books if you choose to.
Try to keep the TV out of your room if possible, if not then cover it with a cloth when not in use.
Put your computer on your desk if you must (again, would be better to not have it in your room at all), and cover with a cloth when not in use.
It doesn’t matter where your trash can goes.
Experiment with the stand up lamp and watch how the lighting plays out in the room. Put it in such a place where it doesn’t cast creepy shadows or anything – the aim here is that you should feel comfortable in your room.
Your vanity can sit in your fame, career or money sections and placing it in any one of those will have a different effect depending on what your career is.

my parents have decided to remodel the house and we r changing the floors the the walls everything. my room is currently a light champagne color i would say its and the floors are matching haha i want to change it up i was thinken dark dark burgundy wood floors/stained pine with deep red wall colors i want to walk in to my room and feel relaxed and at home not depressed or anxious is this a good choice or bad please give me other suggestions is possible thank you in advance

why would energy be a bad thing in the bed room?
Let go of the TV, computer or exercise equipment in your bedroom. The good feng shui energy in your bedroom is destroyed when these items are present in your bedroom.
Open the windows often or use a good quality air-purifier to keep the air fresh and full of oxygen . Be mindful of the quality of air in your bedroom. Best feng shui colors for the bedroom are considered the so-called "skin colors", and we know the colors of human skin vary from pale white to rich chocolate brown. Choose colors within this range that will work best for your bedroom decor.
Choose the images for your bedroom wisely, as images carry powerful feng shui energy. Best feng shui advice for the bedroom art is to choose images that you want to see happening in your life. Unless you enjoy being sad and lonely, do not use sad and lonely images in your bedroom.
Follow the basic feng shui guidelines for your Bed, which are:have your bed easily approachable from both sides, have two bedside tables (one on each side), and, avoid having the bed in a direct line with the door. A "good looking" and well-balanced bed is very important in creating a perfect feng shui bedroom. 1st formula take 2 smiling photos one of you and one of the one you love and face them towards each other and to tie these pictures 99 times with red ribbon/yarn/thread & then take 2 chop sticks and tie these two together also with 9 inches of red ribbon/yarn/thread. Then I take the photos and place them in the right back corner of my room
(not sure which way the southwest corner of my room is) and then throw the chopsticks on top of the photos & not to touch these items for 27 days, after 27 days I put the chopsticks away and take the photos and throw them into a moving body of water for me it would be my local beach that’s theonly moving body of water I have.
2nd formula take the two photos with love labeled on the back & tie them up in red ribbon/yarn/thread 99 times and then place these photos in a red envelope & sleep on enevelope for 9 nights during the full moon on 10th day take these photos and throw them in a moving body of water i.e. stream, rivers, beach etc… help!
