Hi all. I am really not sure how the complexity of Feng Shui works in my case. I have those low modern beds with no springboards and chairbacks as headboards. The bed was very expensive and I really like it. I feel good in it despite it doesn’t have a real headboard and it’s low. Any cures?
Also, I have a 30 inch screen tv. It makes me feel relaxed to watch something and fall asleep to unwind from the day. The TV however is on it’s own stand and an armoir wouldn’t fit here, any clues to cover it? It doesn’t sit directly in front of me, but to northeast to when I look up from the bed so I do see myself.
My bed is positioned correctly, commanding & all but where the windows are on my right, it forms 3 sides, like a side of an octagon, three single windows in each wall. Is this considered an auspicious corner?
Lastly, My walls are blue and green. I feel good. I have red too, should I add more red?
Let me know if anyone can help me solve this puzzle!
I thank you for your help!

i know a bit about Feng Shui. i know that you need plants and fish at your place. you need life in there, that really helps. also you can get a figure of an elephant and face the elephant towards your front door, it brings good luck. and very important, go to the store and get a small hand mirror and put it above your door. it takes the evil away from your home. this really works. also adding more red never hurts. hope this helps you some!

I’ve been trying to spruce up my home a bit, and am wondering what the best cures would be for areas where there’s a blockage of the energy flow that can’t be removed, as my home has a few of these.

Great question. Each room, space and home is different. Based on the limited amount of information that was provided, I’ll share some tips and ideas for you.

First off, make sure the space is well lite. Many times, just adding additional lighting can help dramatically. I also recommend that you may want to consider having the lights on a timer so that when you come home in the evenings, your space welcomes you, and invites you in.

Consider adding life energy to a space such as flowers, plants and displaying fresh fruit. Just adding these simple items can make a space really begin to feel like a home.

Adding mirrors for dark areas can expand the space as well and lighten the feeling.

The handle on my Jalousie windows are breaking so that I can’t close my windows~it has happened to 2 windows. I know that it is considered bad feng shui to have a malfunctioning window…and that money will not stay with you, right? My family is extremely tight for cash (I stay home w/ my girls and my husband works) and it seems like we can never get ahead. My question is how do I fix my windows so I don’t lose money if I never have money to fix them??? It seems like a I can’t get ahead…
Any suggestions?
Any cures for keeping money? We can usually make it but it always seems like it is spent before any extra gets in our hand.
HELP!!!
Thank you.

where did you get such ideas??? windows does not do anything to you money, as far as fengshui is concerned. sometimes, leaky pipes (faucets or toilets) can mean that the people in the house are loosing money; thus, most chinese fix this as soon as possible.

money is such a complicated topic. because you need a fengshui expert just to look what is wrong with your house. in fengshui, you might be loosing money because of many factors, like location of house, structure of house, the structure/ arrangement inside the house.

basically, in theory, your kitchen must be at the right location, with your stove/ oven facing the right direction – this attracts money! another thing is that you can "activate" your house with the use of mini rock/ mountain formation and a water feature. and you can also make a water dragon, which is just a canal of clean water going in and out of your house (clean water means legal business). unfortunately, there is no general rule how to apply these. you really need a fengshui expert to help you calculate and apply these properly.

I know that there are "cures" for things in Feng Shui, does anyone know one for this? I have a double door as my front door (which I know is not great in Feng Shui) and you can see my fireplace clearly from the front door. I can "block" the view of the actual place where the fire burns, however you can see the brick chimney that goes all the way to the ceiling, which is vaulted. (15 ft from hearth to ceiling).

Also, I know that you are not supposed to have the foot of your bed facing the door of your room. Half of the foot of my bed is directly across from French doors to the outside. Is it true that if you have a foot board on your bed it counter acts this?

Any help is appreciated.
I heard that if you can see your fireplace from your front door that you will have an accident in the future. Since we moved into this house (where you can see the fireplace from the door), we have had several tragities happen to our family. That is why I am looking further into this. So far, I have only done basic Feng Shui techniques. Since hearing about being accident prone when the fireplace is visable from the front door I am really adimit about fixing this issue. Any little bit helps, right?

You need a water element placed in between the doors and the fireplace to extinguish the effects of the fire. A simple fountain, doesn’t have to be big can do this. A small desktop one will suffice. As far as your bedroom, more important than your feet pointing toward the door is what direction your headboard is. Your head should ideally be pointing North, unless that wall has a bathroom on the other side and the toilet is on that wall. If this is the case, place your headboard so your head is facing West. Never have your head facing south. Change rooms if you have to. I wouldn’t recommend east either. In answer to your feet facing the door, place the mirror on the wall or standing near so you are reflected backk into the room.
