I have a beautiful pond outside the front of my house, with a waterfall and the most gorgeous koi and comets ever. It is to the left of the door when looking out. My office is also to the left of the door, so that I look out on the pond from my office window. The waterfall faces diagonally outward, kind of facing the entrance and front walkway. Is this placement ok? If not, cures…? (I cannot change its placement now). Also, we have so many babies now that I wanted to separate them in a sort of "holding" tank until we seel them or give them away, so I thought of putting a smaller pond with a small filter in the foyer as you walk in, to keep the babies in there (cant do it outside cause its too small and freezes in winter) This one is only like 5′ x 3′, the steps going upstairs wind around it. Is this placement ok? Any thoughts on what I should put around it? I know too much water is not good, but I need a better place for the little ones!-thanks

Is this for you or the fish. My cousins wife drives him nuts with this stuff. She always wants the heaviest furniture moved to improve the ‘flow’. His ‘flow’ doesn’t seem to matter. I’m always teasing her telling her to just hang a mirror upside down. RScott

My bedroom is in the NE section of my home so I have placed my bed on a north wall but, this positions also places me above a garage, between 2 doorways, and facing two large windows . Is this good placement or should I move it to a different section. or what would the cures be.

Make sure that entrance to the room is visible from the bed
As long as your feet when laying in bed aren’t pointing towards and doors that’s fine.
Other than that it’s a knock down wall job or reconstruction altogether.

Is there any place in the house that’s good? Or is there a cure? I’ve had it in the relationship/marriage area of my wealth quadrant for years. Now that I think about it, I do seem to get in the middle of people’s dirty laundry. lol
I really want an answer in Feng Shui terms, not how I should ignore Feng Shui.

first, the bagua method that you read from books is not an authentic chinese fengshui method – i have taken many seminars from chinese fengshui masters, not 1 talked about this method. just think if this was a method, you cannot put your hamper or the toilet anywhere bec they will affect that aspect of your life in a bad way.

there are many methods in fengshui, bagua method is not 1 of them. there is flying stars, 8 mansions, etc.

you can put your hamper anywhere. and it will not have any significant effect on your life.

the most important thing in your house is the main front door of your house, which leads to the main door or outside. bec this is where the chi or qi comes in from the outside. so fengshui practitioners measure the facing degree of this door using a compass, and calculates the chi distribution inside the house locating the good areas and the bad areas inside the house. you can also use your birthdate to know which areas are good for you and bad for you to make it more personal. to make life easier, you need to use the good areas for kitchen, living areas, bedroom; while leaving the areas with bad chi for toilets, garage, pantry, or rooms less used.

there are many methods in fengshui. so when you bump into a problem using 1 method, you can always use another. it is even recommended to have 2 or more methods supporting an application/ fengshui solution – to make it more effective/ powerful.

The north, your career and life path suppose to be at the house main door. What if my main door is in the west? I don`t know which way to use to feng shui my house, the bagua cure or cure it where the house`s North, South, East and West?

first the bagua is not a cure-all; it is a powerful tool. it is also deadly to the people living in the house, when it is used inside the house – the bagua is never placed inside the house! it is usually placed outside the house. there are other remedies in place of the bagua, like the modified abacus, please my master’s article: www.fengshuisos.com, click on articles.

next, i think you are talking about black hat fengshui. i only know about the original authentic chinese fengshui which my master teaches me. i do not really know what you are trying to achieve by this. but the best way to change your life is get a fengshui auditor/ master to do the right solutions for your house.

If this is bad then is there any cure for it please?

I wouldn’t recommend it just because you’d have random kids jumping in, trash thrown in, etc.
Not worth it.

I have been feeling bedridden tired for years now. I have moved twice in the past 9 years, in those homes, new & used I have been feeling drained, pains, irritable & nausea. It’s getting worse. I sleep more(7 to 9 hrs) than I used to because before I didn’t sleep much, however, I feel a need to pass out sometimes early at night or in the afternoon, it’s uncontrollable & scary. No doctor over the years can find a cure, they call any cure they can’t treat, "Stress". I disagree did everything to feel better, the only thing I can’t do is constant exercise because I am too weak for that! I’ve seem many doctors, emergency rooms, acupunturist, vacations, etc & no luck. The house I moved into recently is new. I have had this burnout problem for years though. People say I have the evil eye because I am doing well for myself & despite the troubles, I still look good. A lot of people envy me.I am desparate & if I will have stress, it’s due to not finding a solution to this constant lack of energy

Have you looked into the conditions known as chronic fatigue and chemical injury? What you describe is common to both.

It could be something like your body has a hard time breaking down synthetic chemicals. Most people do; some of us are disabled by it, others get cancer or asthma or depression.

Try getting rid of all of your household cleaning chemicals. Use vinegar and baking soda instead, that’s what our grandmothers used and it worked just fine. Also use personal care products from the health food store — try especially to avoid ingredients with -paraben etc, those are derived from petroleum and cause a lot of problems. So do synthetic fragrances, which are also derived from petroleum. Would you expect to stay healthy if you wore gasoline all day?

New homes can be the source of the injury because of all of the formaldehyde, paints, etc that are used.

If this is what’s going on for you, then learning how to live with fewer toxins will help far more than feng shui.

Strength and good luck.

I have been teaching myself by buying books but would like to learn more detailed information such as:
Creating a Lo Shu grid for person and home
Fixes and cures
How to use complex compass tools.

I would love to consult but want to apply to my life and home first, where is the best school to attend or online? I am english speaking only.

Thank you.

i am practising Hong Kong fengshui under So Man Fung teachings.

Fengshui originated from China and it might contains a lot of mistakes over all these 2000 years.

i believe that it is better if you can divide the L into 2 regular shaped rooms than putting a mirror. better yet, you can make a incorporate the lacking part with a garden, or a sun room.

just remember that a remedy with mirrors are usually negative turned neutral, not really into a positive.

the beams are on the ceiling and run throughout the width of the screened in part of the outdoors family room. there are about 8 beams in all, AND there are at least 2 beams that run perpendicularly to the 8. AND a central supporting pillar.

I’ve attempted to "cure" the pillar by draping it with a gauzy curtain and a decorative line of papier mache. and "attempted" to cure the beams by hanging a bunch of paper asian "party lamps (no light)" off of most of the beams. and a wooden wind chime. it still seems sort of "wrong".
any advice?

nobody uses the room, i think because of bad feng shui. need more cures i guess.

thanks in advance.

Take down all the lanterns and curtain and everything you have that draws so much attention to the pillars. Instead, hang just one wind chime, a simple glass one, and hang a few potted plants, like ivy and pothos. Plants are a great cure for anything. They bring life and air to the room.
Meaningless clutter is not good for a anything. Hope that helps.

I’ve just purchased a house (1905 Craftsman) with 8 overhead support beams in the bedroom. These beams run horizontal and take up literally the length of the bedroom. I have to put a bed in there somewhere and I can’t cure each of these beams with hanging flutes (That would mean literally 16 hanging flutes! What an eyesore!). Does anyone have any cures or recommendations?

why is that people usually use a windchime, flutes, or a mirror to remedy something??? i don’t think these things are good esp in a bedroom.

if your ceiling is high, then, i do not think that it will affect you. the only bad thing about an overhead beam is that when you lie down, do you feel the psychological "pressure"? if you don’t, then you are alright. though you can use a canopy (bed) to cover it up.

I am dieting, exercising but I need a cure in Feng Shui to help me in my goal. Anyone knows what to do? Please advise.

Thanks

There are some home arrangements that can make you focus too much on food. For example, you shouldn’t see the kitchen from the front door. Try using a screen or curtains if the entrance to the kitchen is right off the entrance to the home. Open kitchens that share space with family rooms are tough because while your relaxing and watching t.v., the kitchen and its energy is right there. It makes it super easy to go right for a snack.
You may want to add plants or decorative objects on the counter to shield the view.
The areas of your home including the SW and NE have a energy type which is earth. Earth is receptive and does not let go easily. Look in these area for clutter on the floor. Furniture with legs that the energy can circulate under is fine. I am talking about solid items, boxes laying on the floor, newspaper piles, a wood pile outside etc, After you have done a thorough cleaning, adding metal will help release the stagnant chi.
If the weight is just in your stomcah, the SW is the place to check for that as well since each directions correlates to a body part and for the stomach, abdomen you check the SW for feng shui taboos.

As for more advanced studies of Feng Shui you may have a flying star combination 1-2 which indicates "big tummy".

Decorate your area with art that depicts healthy people being active to motivate yourself to also be active.

http://tabithamiller.com/compass/east.htm

These images are good in your gym but are even more useful in places like the computer room where people spend way too much time.
Think positive since the words you say become reality.
"I am getting healthier everyday" is a good mantra.

open atruim has no covering on roof…it is located in wealth area.

lush green plants, and perhaps a statue or image of Lakshmi, a Goddess of Prosperity… some coins above any doors in the room. green stones in the left corner of room… or on the left side of a table or altar. and the intention of prosperity while in the room!

I originally used East-West feng shui, now I use BTB Black Sect (Lin Yun) feng shui. Have you ever had any noticeable results with any kind of feng shui and what type did you use? Remember, don’t tell me what cure you used because of the red envelope protocol.

east-west fengshui is really called ba-zhai method or 8 mansions. i don’t think that the real use for this method is written in books published today, esp those by ms. lillian too.

if you use this method based on the books of ms. lillian too, you only make yourself sensitive to being business-minded when you face your bed to your success direction. but this is in contradiction, when you gained knowledge held by a fengshui master, instead of a book. when you attend a fengshui seminar, you’d know why that to use your success direction can do you more bad than good.

i think most methods i used bring me good results… like flying stars method, it is simple to use and it is very effective. you can also use flying stars with ba zhai method.

i don’t do cures, because to me a cure is like being an amateur. and i have taken some fengshui lessons, so i think i can do more than cures. besides, a cure is when you make a bad into a neutral temporarily – you did not solve anything permanently. to me, it is always better to make a bad into a good with fengshui, permanently.
