Feng Shui (pronounced “Fung Shway“) is the ancient Chinese art of placement. Feng Shui literally translates to mean Wind Water and is represented by the symbols depicted here to the side. Feng Shui can be used to improve your life by implementing Feng Shui principles which improve the flow of Qi (pronounced “Chi”) or life energy that is present in all things. It is believed that this energy can become stagnant and that simple changes in our environment can unblock the flow of energy and improve our circumstances.
Feng Shui decorating can be used to bring more love, health or money into our lives. Many of the Feng Shui cures are practical ideas about where objects can be placed in and around our homes to make them look more esthetically pleasing, safe and functional.
Anyone can use good Feng Shui to make the positive changes they want in their lives. One of the primary tools of Feng Shui is the Bagua (pronounced “Bah Gwa”). The Bagua is an eight sided diagram that includes eight elements that correspond to eight important areas of our lives.

When objects around us are arranged in a way that allows Qi to flow properly then we will experience more success and fulfillment in all areas of our lives.
