How do I feng shui a bed in a bedroom with 8 overhead support beams?

I’ve just purchased a house (1905 Craftsman) with 8 overhead support beams in the bedroom. These beams run horizontal and take up literally the length of the bedroom. I have to put a bed in there somewhere and I can’t cure each of these beams with hanging flutes (That would mean literally 16 hanging flutes! What an eyesore!). Does anyone have any cures or recommendations?
why is that people usually use a windchime, flutes, or a mirror to remedy something??? i don’t think these things are good esp in a bedroom.
if your ceiling is high, then, i do not think that it will affect you. the only bad thing about an overhead beam is that when you lie down, do you feel the psychological "pressure"? if you don’t, then you are alright. though you can use a canopy (bed) to cover it up.

instead of having anything hanging down, in the center of the room or across the entire ceiling depending how good it looks, take the net looking fabric you can buy at walmart and use the colors ( im assuming for your bed room) burgandy, beige, and a bamboo green and drape them from beam to beam over lappin and sagging in some areas, tact it with something you cant see maybe even just tacs, and if your bed is centerd agains the right wall you coud drape the same fabric behind the bed,References :
