Feng Shui bedroom color choice?

I have recently got into Feng Shui as a way to improve my life and myself. Im decorating my master bedroom and I want to choose a color that will be inviting in a romantic sense for me and my husband. For those who are experenced would a deep purple plum color be okay to use?

Also if there are any other tips I should know that would be great!

I think lighter pastel colors are more pleasing to the eye as well as more relaxing. Avoid pink or yellow.References :
