Feng Shui: How should I compromise?
Posted on February 21st, 2010 in Feng Shui decorating | 3 Comments »
My room is not conducive to Feng Shui. I’d like to rearrange it according to Feng Shui (it is a good way to decorate, it promotes peace). However, if I put my bed in the farthest diagonal from the door, then I will have a window there. I know that I’m not supposed to put the bed against the window. So, should I keep it on that wall, and move it by the window, or put it on a different wall (I wouldn’t be facing the door anymore if I put it against another wall)…What is more important, to be facing the door (but not directly, I know), or to be against a wall with no windows. Which one should I give up?
If you don’t care about Feng Shui, then please don’t post rude comments, thanks!
You should give priority to your favorable directions. Once you know them, choose the one that best fits in your bedroom. There is no perfect room to place the bed and it is not always possible to consider main guidelines such as not to face the door etc.
I always choose one of my favorable directions and had once only the choice to sleep beyond the window. So I did and it all was perfect. I just made sure to close the curtains.
